Time to gate the stairs!!!

Samantha made her first dash for the stairs this weekend so it was time to call Grandpa over to see if we could put up the gates for the stairs.  We already had purchased the gate knowing this day would come and after a trip to Lowe's we were ready to start installing it.  We will stain/paint the wood to match the stairs/wall in a couple weeks.  Thanks again grandpa for always being there for your grand-daughter.

Down to one bottle!!!

We had started to wean Samantha off bottles, so she has been only taking 3 bottles a day instead of the normal 4. Last night we dropped that down to 1 bottle a day. Samantha is still getting milk three times a day, just two of her bottles will now come in the form of her sippy cup. Samantha could care less what you put the milk in...just give her the milk.

Happy Birthday Chase!!!

On Saturday we headed to Chase's 7th Birthday Party in Durham, NC.  Chase had an Indiana Jone's Adventure and it was one cool Birthday Party.  It started with the kids getting their satchel to hold all their treasures.  Then they had to cross the dart pit in order to get their own Indiana Jone's hat...off to the mummy relay race...and finally the obstacle course.  Samantha thought she was very cool getting to hang out at her cousins Indiana Jones party.
