Dreams Sands Resort and Spa - Day 4!

All good things must come to an end and unfortunately we were going to have to leave Cancun.  We slept in a little since we knew we would be traveling most of the day.  Mommy ordered room service which eating while looking out at the blue water was so nice.   After a very nice breakfast we finished packing and getting ready before doing one more last walk around the property and spending a little time saying goodbye to some of the great waiters/staff that we had got to know over the weekend.  Our shuttle was ready to pick us up at 11:30 and take us to the airport.  We got to the airport and decided to get one last bit of Mexican prior to heading back to US even if it was a speedy burrito place.  No issues with the flight took about 2 hours and 45 minutes but as we land there is lightning in the area so they won't let the workers out to the plane so we get to sit in customs for 2 hours waiting on luggage to get from plane to baggage claims.  It eventually arrives and we are on our way to the car.  What a fun trip; definitely want to do it again.

Dreams Sands Resort and Spa - Day 3!

Day 3; another beautiful relaxing day in Cancun.  We decided we would head down to the World CafĂ© for breakfast (buffet).  After breakfast it was off to find our spot by the pool, where we would spend the majority of our day.  At 10:00 they had a Kayak tour that I wanted to do so I headed to get ready for that while Paige and Samantha stayed at pool.  The Kayak tour was beautiful, we did about 45 minutes of kayaking and was told all about the area from the guide.  This place again is absolutely beautiful.  After Kayaking, I came back to find out they were doing horseshoes, so I teamed up with guy from Houston and we won three game straight prior to being defeated.    When it was time for lunch we headed to Olio (Mediterranean restaurant).  After lunch Samantha was excited about Bingo so off to find the Bingo game we went, and although we were close we did not win the Bingo game.  Time to go relax on the beach, which was interesting because this time we saw a couple fish that were beautiful swimming with us.  Turns out a pelican did too as he swooped down and got one right next to us, that was interesting.  Before heading up to get ready for dinner, one more swim in the pool, Samantha said so off to the pool we go again.  Although we wanted to stay it was time to head up to get ready for dinner.  Tonight´s dinner was at Himitsu (Asian restaurant), which was so good.  While at dinner we got an instant message from Kimberly (head of social media at Dream) that they wanted to do something special for us prior to us leaving as they really liked the blog.  If something special is what they wanted to accomplish they did it.  Our waiter Alfredo from the Asian restaurant brought Samantha their incredible version of a banana split for desert; and Paige got a very special presentation of her Mayan coffee (complete fire show included).  The whole restaurant was watching as he made her coffee for us which was a very neat show.  We said goodbye and headed out to get ready for the circus show as we wanted good seats.  Kimberly found us and she had them make us a Twitter Flan with a flag on it that had the tweet symbol and @Wesley_Riley35.  It also said "In behalf of #DreamsTeam, thank you for being our guest".  We thanked her and the entire staff for providing us such a wonderful extended weekend vacation.  It was time for the circus show to begin and Samantha absolutely loved it.  After the circus show it was time to go up and get showers, pack, and get ready for bed.  We had such a wonderful weekend at Dreams Sands but time to get ready for our afternoon flight home tomorrow.  Hopefully we will be able to come back to Dreams Sands again soon!
