S'mores at the lake

Last weekend we went up Friday night for a campfire and S'mores.  Samantha loves S'mores mainly for the chocolate.....

Bop till you drop!!!

Samantha is loving her dance lessons at Miss Donna's School of Dance.  Today after her dance class we came home and she asked if we wanted to see her do Bop till you drop.  It was making us crack up so I asked her if she wanted me to tape it so that all of her cousins could see it...to which she jumped back up on stage.  This kid knows how to go till you drop.

Outdoor Photo Shoot!!!

We decided this morning that we would go out for a outdoor photo shoot.  I had ordered a 50 mm lens and thought we should see what it would do.  I still need to work on editing (but since that may never happen) here are the pictures.  Samantha had a lot of fun and the pictures turned out too cute.

Matthews Alive!!!

Today was Matthews Alive which is something that is becoming a tradition for Labor Day weekend.  Shannon, Ron, Marcus, & Joyce came over this morning and we headed to the parade.  Samantha loves the parades but was even more excited when she heard that Elliana and Audrey were going to be there as well.  After watching some of the parade we headed off to ride some rides.  Great times but extremely hot.  As we headed into arts and crafts we noticed home depot was allowing the kids to build bird houses and Samantha realized why Grandpa always has to come help do anything that involves construction....we will leave the roof for grandpa to help fix next time he is around.  We decided to head to Mellow Mushroom for lunch which turned out great.  Fun times.
