Our second annual New Year's Eve Bowling Extravaganza!!!

After a nap we got dressed and headed to Carolina Lanes for our second annual New Year's Eve Bowling Extravaganza. They do an earlier version of a New Year's party so the kids can enjoy New Year's Eve prior to falling asleep. We all had a great time...boy have our New Year's Eve nights changed since Samantha was born...time to go home and watch the ball drop (wondering if Samantha will make it till 12:00)

Day on the farm...prior to the bowling party!!!

We decided this morning to head out to a farm and spend the day with the animals. We needed to be at the bowling party at 4:00 but we should be able to spend the day at farm; get some lunch; and then take a nap prior to bowling. Samantha absolutely loved the animals and I really think she would love it if her dad owned a farm with land and animals...mom said forget about it.

Friday...day at the zoo!!!

Mommy and Daddy took Friday off and took Samantha to the zoo.  We decided to have a little fun and be like Dora and use our map to find the animals.  Samantha thought it was the coolest thing.  Unfortuately daddy forgot to charge the camcorder prior to going and the batteries went dead about half way through the day.  Below is a video of our day...Samantha loves the zoo!!!

Thursday Swim Lesson!!!

We had missed several swim lessons but now with the holidays behind us we figured it was time to get ready for boating season.  We were so proud of Samantha tonight...she floated on her back all by herself with no one holding her...she did the scuba diver float which all of the kids are scared to do...she jumped in and turned around all by herself and swimmed to the side and climbed out. We had a great night swimming!!!

Zootastic!!!

Tonight we headed to Troutman for Zootastic.  Samantha was so excited to see the baby tiger and to actually get to pet it prior to going to see the petting zoo and finishing the trip off with a quick pony ride.  Oh yeah the lights were pretty cool too!!!
