She is ready for what???
Samantha has been loving swim lessons and has really gotten good at floating on her back. Last week in class she was floating on her back and I walked away from her leaving her in the middle of the pool and she floated on her back for about 30 to 40 seconds before she flipped over on her stomach and started swimming towards me. Ms. Robin told us they had decided it was time to move to the next class to which I replied oh how nice; what do you think about that Samantha? Then she proceeds to tell me how the next class is independant and no parents allowed in the pool which without hestation got a do what? I had been traveling on the coast of SC but had worked it out where I was booking out by 2:00 no matter what; so that I was there for swim lessons. Samantha was very excited about going to her class but daddy was a nervous wreck. Ms. Shelby is her new teacher and she proved that Samantha did not need daddy after all in her class. Samantha got her blue necklace which told her which class to go to and then proceeded to walk by herself into class and up to her teacher. One thing I like about Little Otter is anytime they have a new student they take it very easy on the first class and the teachers make their own assessment of where the students are. There was one slight unusual break, a student had an accident in the pool so they immediately got everyone out of the pool; applied chemicals; waited 10 mins and then allowed everyone back into the pool. The teacher told us at the end of the class how proud she was of Samantha and that she was definitely a rock star! We were so proud of how she did in her big girl class...you will always be mommy and daddy's rock star!!!

Georgia Aquarium!!!
We woke up this morning and headed to the Georgia Aquarium. They opened at 9:00 and we were walking in at 9:05 and beat most of the Saturday crowd. I have always loved dolphins so mommy had reserved the 11:00 dolphin show so we decided to go see several of the exhibits prior to the dolphins. Samantha had a blast and Daddy/Mommy had a blast watching her have a blast and watching her take it all in. The whale sharks were huge! We arrived early for the dolphin show as we had heard it was a sold out show and got seats on the 4th row. They did not allow pictures or videos (I actually listened this time) so did not get any pictures from the actual show but it was a very good show. We then went to eat lunch. Daddy had bought Samantha a baby beluga book when he was at the aquarium for work so it was time for her to actually get to see the character from the book that we read at night. They were adorable and enjoyed putting on a show. We then came up on the otters which Samantha got a kick out of because she has been a "Little Otter" at her swim school. As we come around the corner mommy get's super excited because we are at the penguins which is her favorite. After we had a chance to see everything we decided to say bye to the animals and head to Atlantic Station for dinner (it was in between the Aquarium and our hotel in Buckhead). Atlantic Station has an H&M (mommy's favorite store) so Sammie and Daddy go to explore to give mommy some time to shop. Luckily we found an ice cream shop and decided we would share a kid's ice cream. We then went to the courtyard to play and then caught up with mom and headed to dinner. We ate at Copeland's Cheesecake Bistro. After dinner I said mom where to next and she said to hotel...huh? Your race is on at 8:00 and I thought you would want to see it. Love you mommy!!!
