Boat day!!!

Disney - July 2016 - Day 4

Our last day before going back home; we had planned to wake up and be at Blizzard Beach before rope drop and stay until we were done and then go back to the mini-golf course that we did not get to finish.  We got there before rope drop and I just kept looking at Summit Plummet going I have to try that while I am here.  Blizzard Beach was tons of fun.  First we found a good spot to put our stuff to get out of the sun if needed and headed to explore the beach.  Around noon we had decided we needed to take a break and head for lunch and as we were waiting on food we heard lightning (which means they get everyone out of the water and you have to stay out 30 mins until it lightnings again and then you wait another 30 mins.  We took the food back to our spot and then all of a sudden the bottom fell out of the clouds.  We ate lunch and then waited it out till about 2:30 before we said this would probably be more of a wait than we wanted to wait out.  Since it was lightening and raining we figured golf was out of the question too so we jumped in the truck and headed to Daytona Beach.  Beautiful sun in Daytona and nothing but blue skis.  We got a little more swimming in before heading upstairs to get ready for dinner.  Dinner was at Riptides which was absolutely amazing, great suggestion by the front desk.  After dinner Paige found a close mini-golf course and her and Samantha proceeded to tie for first place meaning I lost.  After golf it was time to call it a night and get ready for heading home tomorrow.  Fun trip!!!
