Baby Elliana and quick drive by the lake!!!

Aunt Kelly, Uncle Wes, & baby Elliana moved up to Concord last week.  We called to see if it was ok if we came to visit them at their new place.  Aunt Kelly said to come on up and Samantha was so excited that she was going to get to see baby Elliana.  We headed up and I got to hold on to baby Elliana while Paige and Aunt Kelly put away some things.  After saying goodbye we decided to head up to the lake to check on everything.  We learned that they have actually drained the lake to allow people to work on their docks and piers.  After ice walking around the dock and checking on everything we got back in the car to head home.  Can't wait for the ice to melt, lake to get back up, and boating season.  



Work Daddy? Help Mommy?

Today marked 11 straight days that Samantha has gotten to stay out of day care.  She has gotten where she really enjoys getting to come into daddy's office and working at his desk while he works and tonight she decided she wanted to help mommy with a scrapbook that she was working on.  Soo cute (ignore the little ketchup dip on the cheek and nose)!!!

Snow day in Charlotte!!!

Samantha was out of day care all last week with a cold and we pretty much stayed in the house all weekend to try and let her fully recover for Monday's big day back at school.  We woke up this morning to snow so another day without school (first day back should be fun).  Mommy and Daddy worked from home and in the afternoon went out to play with Sammie Wammie.  She loves the snow and daddy tried to convince mommy that she was ready for ski lessons from daddy (we will have to see if it actually worked or not).  Mommy and Samantha did snow angels and then marched around in the snow.  After playing in the snow we ate dinner prior to heading up for a bath and then getting ready for bed.  Got a feeling school is going to be closed again tomorrow due to ice on the roads.

Sleepover at Grandma JuJu and Grandpa's

Samantha, Karstyn, & Kaya all had a sleepover at Grandma JuJu's and Grandpa's on Saturday night.  They looked like they had a blast.  Karsytn & Kaya were so cute playing with her.  Thanks Grandma and Grandpa for hosting their sleepover.  Samantha came home and went straight to bed...you guys wore her out.
