Austin's first boat ride!!!

Samantha and daddy woke up and wanted to take Austin on a boat ride.  We think Austin is going to be a great boating dog and we wanted to get him out as soon as possible for a quick boat ride.  He had a blast and loved curling up in mommy's lap as we rode around the lake.  Great time!!!

Samantha has been saying she has wanted a dog for several months now and daddy had fallen in love with the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel.  We finally were able to talk mommy into moving forward with getting one and we decided to go with Kingston Cavaliers as our breeder.  On Friday night we headed to Kinston, NC so that we could wake up in the morning and get an early start to meeting Austin.  Samantha was so excited.

We arrive at Kingston Cavaliers and we finally get to meet Austin...he is so cute and so sweet!!!

One last run around prior to saying good bye to everyone at Kingston Cavalier...

Austin gets in the truck and acts like he has been going on truck rides for years...

We made a quick bathroom break in Durham at Aunt Michelle & Anthony's and got a quick bite to eat at Five Guys prior to getting back on the road...

Both Austin and Samantha had a big day and both decided to close their eyes for a couple minutes to be ready for playing when they got to Charlotte...

Samantha says that's it I am going in to play with Austin...

We decide to see how he does with his crate and we put him in and left the door open and he stayed...thanks Kingston Cavaliers for making that look easy....

I am tired what a day....time to head upstairs and go to bed....

First Day of Kindergarten!!!

Today was Samantha's first day of Kindergarten.  For the last three years as we have driven by Stallings Elementary she has said when she was 5 she will go to that school.  Today it became a true statement.  We are so proud of you Samantha!!!
