We woke up this morning excited to go on a lighthouse tour of the Outer Banks. First we headed to Duck Donuts for some donuts. The first lighthouse we went to was Hatteras which was taller than Sammie and I thought it would be. We decided to then take the ferry to Ocracoke which is about an hour ride. Once we got over there it was time for lunch so we stopped at Gaffer's sports pub. The food was great but due to off season only two waiters and two cooks working so took a while to get food. We were then off to find Ocracoke lighthouse. On the way back we stopped to check out the beach and the Ocracoke ponies. Our last lighthouse was Bodie and it was probably my favorite. The sun was setting and the light had been turned on, which was cool to see. For dinner we headed to Basnight's Lone Cedar which was very good. After dinner it was late so we headed back to the hotel to relax and call it a night. Such a fun day!!!
