Ron, Shannon & Marcus come to town!!

Ron, Shannon, & Marcus came down from Maryland to visit with us for the week.  Samantha was very shy when they first got here but it did not take long for her to warm up to them again.  Aunt Kelly & Uncle Wes were heading to the mountains so we asked them if they wanted to come over and have Lasagna and Grandma JuJu came over as well.  Everyone loved seeing baby Elliana and after Wes and Kelly left we settled in to watch Tuesday night football in hopes that daddy won our Fantasy Football Superbowl, which he did!!!!

Christmas snow and first snowman!!!

Santa (Ho...Ho...Ho) came to see me and he brought presents!!!

Sammie Wammie woke up this morning and daddy went and got her and brought her to our bed.  We asked her if she thought Santa came last night and with the straightest face she said yes, brought me presents.  I asked if she thought there were presents down stairs and she said yes.  I told her I was going to go check and then Mommy and her could come down if it was all safe.  She was so happy and smiled from ear to ear.  After opening the first present (and daddy putting it together) the doorbell rung and I asked who do you think that is and she said Ho...Ho... and ran to the door.  It was grandma JuJu and grandpa to which she said hi but stuck her head out the door and said Ho...Ho?  We explained that Ho..Ho had carried presents to all the boys and girls and was probably snug as a bug in his bed.  We unwrapped several presents with Grandma and Grandpa prior to eating breakfast.  Grandpa and I decided we would wait until it warms up a little (like April) before we put the outdoor playhouse together, which she is going to absolutely love...it was a great day!!!
