Easter Weekend at the Lake!!!

Easter weekend would be the first weekend at the lake for the summer.  I headed up on Thursday morning to do some yard work and Mommy and Samantha came up Thursday night.  Friday night we went over to Pam and Dave's for dinner (Uncle Chad made low country boil which is my favorite meal).  Samantha had a blast with her cousins even though daddy forgot his camera.  On Saturday Grandma JuJu and Grandpa came up for a little while and Samantha and Grandma even fed a duck.  On Easter morning we woke up to find that the Easter Bunny found us at the lake and had hid her basket on the porch.  After searching and searching Samantha finally found the basket that the Easter Bunny left her.  We left early Sunday morning to head home for Aunt Lynnie's Easter Party.  Great weekend at the lake!!!

The Printz family comes to town!!!

On Friday afternoon the Printz family came into town due tp UNCC having its open house this weekend.  Marcus will start UNCC this fall so on Friday we went and ran our normal errands prior to Grandma JuJu and Grandpa coming over to visit with them.  Saturday morning they woke up and headed to UNCC while we went shopping and then we caught up with each other once they were done visiting the campus.  We then headed up to see Aunt Kelly and Baby Elliana prior to heading to doing our normal trip to Concord Mills.  We ate dinner at On the Border and then came home to watch movies.  They hung around till about 10:30 on Sunday and then unfortuately had to hit the road; so we said goodbye and then headed out to see Kaya's soccer game prior to heading home to watch the race....now I am tired nothing like a racing nap on a Sunday afternoon!!!
