Happy 6th Birthday Morgan!!!

We woke up early on Saturday super excited to get to Durham for cousin Morgan's 6th birthday.  Samantha was so excited and since it was going to be a day on the farm she wanted to cowgirl up.  So we got dressed and got on the road.  We got very nervous on the way there because by the time we got to Greensboro the bottom fell out and it was pouring rain.  That said we still had some time prior to the party so maybe it would clear up.  We get to Durham and sure enough just a light rain.  The farm that they had the party at was very accommodating and said they could do everything inside but it actually turned out nice (not hot and just a light rain off and on).  We broke out the straw hats that we had to keep the rain off of those who wanted them..not the most stylish hats but sure do a great job of keeping the rain off of you.  The party was a farm theme and the neat thing about it was throughout the party they taught you the importance of everything on the farm.  From taking care of the garden, to feeding the animals, to getting to know the horses prior to getting on them.  We were a little nervous as we saw that Samantha was going to be riding the big horse as opposed to the smaller one but she did not miss a beat; jumped on the horse and enjoyed the ride.  Later in the day when we were feeding the horse; she comes up to me and ask me to come with her.  We walk up to the fence where this same horse is and she goes daddy....look at "my" horse.  Oh are we in trouble when this girl turns 6.  Happy Birthday Morgan; what a great birthday party...we love you!!!
