With Paige being a die-hard Redskins fan and me being a Panthers fan by default it has been something we have joked (and bet on) since Samantha was born...would she be a Redskins Fan or a Panthers Fan? We started with her very first Redskins-Panthers game saying who ever won the game she would pull for them until they met again. Paige has pretty much stuck to the rules however Ron and Shannon surprisingly brought a Redskins outfit down for Samantha this weekend; so as the game started we decided to let her wear that one (ok she said she wanted to pull for the Redskins). However mom and daddy made a bet at kick-off time (who ever was winning is who she would pull for and she would pull for who ever won the game for the rest of the season; which Samantha thought was funny). The Panthers got off to an early lead so we threw the Panthers outfit over the Redskins and we never had to look back as the Panthers crusied to an easy victory today. To say the least mommy is not a happy camper!!!

Happy Birthday Baby!!!
So Ron, Shannon, & Marcus are in town and after work we met up and headed out to dinner. While at dinner a kid was having her birthday so we all sang happy birthday to her when they brought out the cake. Only problem with that after singing Samantha looks at me and says, "I want some cake". Samantha we can't have cake it is not our birthday. To which she replies "oh...it is my baby's birthday; when we get home we have birthday cake for my baby?" How do you argue with that? So we stopped and picked up some ice cream cake and proceeded to sing happy birthday to Baby; I use to think I was good at my negotiating skills but this kid puts icing on the cake...literally.

Like mother like daughter!!!
When Samantha was first born she was her daddy's child but as time has passed she is getting more and more like her mother...this is what I found when I went in to check on her last night...she had fallen asleep reading her book....

Chase's Baptism and Soccer Game
We woke up early on Sunday and headed to Durham to watch Samantha's cousin Chase get Baptised. We got there a little early so Samantha got to go into Ethan's Sunday School class and then Children's Church as well. The service was very nice and we are so proud of Cousin Chase for making this decision all on his own. We then had pizza at the church prior to rushing over for his soccer game which he played great and below is a picture of his goal scoring shot. Great job Chase we are so proud of you, your sister, and Ethan as well. Ethan tought Samantha what to do today if she were to catch on fire...STOP, DROP. and ROOOLLLLL!!!!
