Disney - November 2016 - Day 7 - Resorts Day!!!

Today was our last day at Disney; Paige wanted to take the Grandma's to see a couple of the resorts since they would all be decorated for Christmas.  First we went to Animal Kingdom Lodge which is probably one of our favorite resorts.  Samantha was able to get her face painted and play a couple activities while we were there and we got to see a couple animals too.  Unfortunately the giraffes were away and they were getting ready to feed them but we needed to go as we had a reservation at the next location for brunch.  We headed over to Grand Floridian resort which is alway beautiful at Christmas with a huge ginger bread house in the lobby area of the resort.  We had brunch reservations at 1900 Park Fare with Alice, Mad Hatter, Tigger, Mary Poppins, & Pooh.  After the Grand Floridian we jumped on the monorail and rode over to The Polynesian Village Resort to see it prior to heading back to the house.  I tried to talk everyone into renting a boat for a boat ride around Disney but turned out I was the only one interested in a boat ride.  Later this afternoon we headed to play miniature golf at Disney's Winter Summerland which is one of our favorite mini golf courses down here.  Everyone played really hard but I was able to win the game with a 3 stroke lead.  I laughed tonight when I got home; going through the pictures and realized I had been photobombed for my championship photo with Santa at the end of the game.  After golf we headed home to get some packing done and then Paige and I headed to dinner for two; everyone else wanted to stay home and eat leftovers and let Samantha swim one last time on her last night.  Prior to going to bed we decorated cookies and then sang happy birthday to Grandma Bern whose birthday is in a couple weeks.  Such a fun time at the happiest place on earth; early morning loading the car and heading back to Charlotte.
