First Doctor's Appointment

Samantha had her first trip to the doctor's office on Wednesday. This was her first trip out of the house since getting home. She had a wonderful nights sleep on Tuesday (we actually had to wake her up both times to get her to eat). Like her mother Samantha is not a morning person and kept looking at us with a look that I could only imagine (if she could talk) would have been just 5 more minutes sleep please. We get to the doctor's office and see Lita (world-renown lactose specialist) who basically gave us an A+ rating (wonder how many people get that rating everyday) and said that Samantha looked so good we did not need to see the Pediatrician at this time but to come back in a week and we would take her weight and check other signs again. She weighed in at .5 ounces below her weight that she was when we left the hospital and during the office feeding she was able to get 2.5 ounces of milk. Back to the house we went feeling like we were going to be ok at this parenting thing.
