Carnival Fantasy....Day 1!!!

We originally had our cruise vacation planned for May but something came up at Paige's work so we decided to change it to our anniversary out of Charleston.  The Fantasy is the Carnival Ship in Charleston and we had picked a 7 day which meant we were going to have 4 sea days and we absolutely love sea days.  We headed to Charleston on Friday night and after checking into the hotel Paige and I headed out to the WindJammer to catch a Sunny Ledfurd show.  The next morning we were able to take our time with heading to the port.  We arrived around 10:30 and they were only dropping off luggage at that time so we dropped off our luggage and then decided to walk around downtown Charleston.  We then realized it may be 1:00 before we were on the ship so off we went to get some Charleston food prior to getting on the ship.  Once on the ship we walked around to check everything out and then off to check out the room.  After walking around and checking out the ship it was already time to go and get ready for dinner...wow we must be having fun because the time was flying.   For dinner we had not been able to get early dining so we switched to anytime dining which was something we had never done.  Turned out we loved it and will probably look to do that from now on.  Anytime dining means you go to dinner when ever you want and get different waiters each night all though we only had three different waiters and got to know each very well.  Very neat dining experience.  After dinner it was off to watch some karaoke prior to calling it an early night and heading to bed as we were all exhausted (little too much fun at Sunny Ledfurd concert the night before in Charleston).  We would wake up excited about our Sea Day.
