Thanksgiving Day at Hollywood Studios

We have never done Thanksgiving day at the park but had decided we were going to do it this year.  We decided on Hollywood Studios as the park that we were going to go to.  First we woke up this morning and JuJu and Grandpa had fixed breakfast.  Samantha and Mommy had colored Thanksgiving placemats and brought them with us so that we could all write what we were thankful for.  It was now time to get our magic bands on and head to the park but before we left Samantha wanted to get Candy Cane's bed ready in case she made a surprise visit while we were away.  We had a 10:00 Frozen sing-a-long fast pass so we stopped and saw Donald and Daisy prior to heading to the Wandering Oaken's Trading Post where we saw snow on the ground (yes in Florida).  Samantha had to play in that for a while.  Then it was off to the Frozen Sing-a-long which the whole family loved.  After that we went to lights, camera, & action to watch some stunt work before catching lunch.  We were a little worried about not having Thanksgiving meal on Thanksgiving day but Paige took care of that.  We had reservations at  Hollywood & Vine which not only had all of the Thanksgiving treats it was actually incredibly good and included Handy Manny, Doc, Sophia, & Jake coming by the table to sign some autographs and take a couple pics.  After lunch we headed to do our fast pass at The Little Mermaid and then caught the Great Movie Ride which somehow Paige and I had never done.  It was time for our Toy Story Mania fast pass which Daddy had talked junk all day about but it worked out in the end because I was able to score the most points of the group.  We then were heading to Beauty & the Beast but before getting there Samantha wanted to get her face painted.  Another thing we have never done is the character drawings and Samantha was very excited, we ended up drawing Piglet and Paige's and Grandpa's came out the best.  We decided to grab a bite of dinner prior to heading to the lights which were incredible.   When we got home sure enough Samantha was right, Candy Cane had come back to visit, we so missed her.  What a fun Thanksgiving Day, hope everyone had a great one!!!  Tomorrow a full day at Magic Kingdom hoping to be there at rope drop.
