Wilmington!!!

We had decided since Samantha did not have soccer or dance this weekend we would do a quick road trip.  We picked Wilmington as Sammie had never been here before.  Friday turned out to be a beautiful day so we wanted to go see the battleship first thing.  First we needed to get lunch, we ate at  the Copper Penny (great fish and chips).  It was off to the battleship; Samantha thought it was the coolest thing.  After going all over the battleship we walked the riverwalk and got a little shopping in.    For dinner we went to The George on the Riverwalk.  After dinner we headed back to the hotel before heading out to Carolina Beach to check out the boardwalk and see the beach.  The water was freezing but that did not stop Sammie from having to put her feet in the water and playing in the sand.  After walking around the boardwalk we were on our way home and Samantha said hey anyone want a piece of pizza before we get to the hotel.  So mommy found us a good pizza place for a slice of pizza.  Such a fun day!!!
