Today was Animal Kingdom and we knew we were going to need to get up early and head out again for rope drop because we did not have a fast pass for Avatar Flight of Passenger. JuJu and Grandpa were not going to ride it so they were just going to meet us at the park. We get there and headed straight to the ride and even though we were early it was still an hour wait but very much worth it. Later in the day we heard it was a 2 to 2 and half hour wait which I don't think we would have waited out, so glad we knocked that one out early. One of Samantha's favorite things to do at Animal Kingdom is the Wilderness Explorer program where you have specific places you have to find to learn about the animals and then earn a badge so she went and got set up for that. We met up with JuJu and Grandpa and went and saw a few animals prior to our fast pass for Kilimanjaro Safaris which is one of our favorites because of all the animals you see on the trail. Lunch was at the Tusker House which is a safari character meal. After lunch it was off for some more exploring until dinner which was a quick service location at the park. We had fast pass for the Rivers of Light show which was amazing. On the way out we had to watch the Tree of Life come to life. Paige and I took Sam, JuJu, and Grandpa back to the room and then Paige and I took the bus to Epcot for a couple of drinks before calling a night. Epcot had magic hours which meant it was only open if you were staying at one of the Disney properties. After closing down Epcot we headed to The Boardwalk for some dueling piano playing prior to taking uber back home. Tomorrow is a day of relaxation so sleeping in and no real plans for the day...one of our favorite days as it allows you to recharge.
