Quick Road Trip!!!

Mom spent the night after the draft and then we woke up the next morning and after packing the car we headed over to Gatlinburg, TN. Grandma and Samantha got special bonding time this weekend and you could not pull them apart. We walked around Gatlinburg and looked at all the shops. It started to rain while we were eating some afternoon appetizers at a little italian restaurant and by the time we got out it was pouring rain. I took off to get the car and then came and picked them up. Since it had started to rain we decided to drive around the parkway and then head on over to Cherokee. When we got to Cherokee and checked into our room...Mom tells us that she wants Paige and I to go have a quiet dinner and then go enjoy the Casino while her and Samantha play together. We decide we will head off till about 9:30 and then we would come back to the room and check in and go from there. When we check in Samantha had fallen asleep in Mom's arms and she was loving life (they had went and hung out at the pool, went for a walk by the river, etc). We change Samantha and put her in her bed and Paige and I headed back to the Casino. We woke up this morning and hung around for a little bit prior to hitting the road back to Charlotte. After taking a short shopping break in Gaffney (Prime Outlets) we made it safely back to Clt. Thanks Grandma Bern...we had a great time!!!
