We woke up pretty early on Saturday and started the 2 hour trip to Jacksonville. Samantha was not exactly sure where we were going but she could not wait to get there. No trip is complete without a last minute stop by the local Wal-mart to make sure we had everything we needed for the next week. We arrive in Jacksonville and parked (right next to the ship) and started the process of boarding the boat. The very first thing we did of course was hit the buffet and Samantha loved the baked ziti. Then it was time for a tour of the Fascination...making sure we knew where everything was located. One of the things we could not wait to see was the water park at the back of the ship (one of the main reasons Paige picked this ship). Samantha's eyes got so big when she saw all of the stuff that she was going to be able to do for the next week. We then headed out to check out our room and balcony. After checking out the room and putting some stuff away we decided to head up and see the ship off. We had early dinner (6:00) so it was time to go down and start getting ready for dinner. After dinner Grandma and Grandpa took some dance lessons (dance instructor actually was from Monroe, NC). After watching Grandma and Grandpa take some dance lessons we decided to go see what the boat looked like at night prior to calling it a night.
