Hollywood Studios!!!
Today was a very exciting day...this is the whole reason that we choose this time of year to come back to Disney. Last year while down for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas, Paige had mentioned that she really wanted to see The Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights. We were not able to work it in on that trip but she has talked about seeing those lights since we got back from Disney last year. This morning started very early with Samantha having breakfast in bed (what a little princess). We then rushed because Paige does her research and Toy Mania is crazy, the park opens up at 9:00 and we were standing in line waiting for the rope to drop. We (and everyone else) head straight for Toy Mania. We are on the ride by 9:15 but when we get off the ride the fast passes are for 2:00 (15 minutes to go through over half a day worth of fast passes). We walked back by at 11:00 and they were sold out of fast passes for the entire day. Toy Story Mania was a great ride and of course daddy won (although Paige will remind you that she had a helper in her lap). We could now relax and just hit the things that we wanted to hit and make sure that Sammie Wammie was having fun. We hit the Little Mermaid ride prior to going to Mickey's Playhouse. It was then time to let Samantha get a couple autographs before lunch. We had lunch at Buzz's Pizza Planet. It was about time for Samantha to take a nap so on a hunch Mommy told me to go ahead and watch Lights, Motors, Action by myself and she would sit with Samantha and have some coffee (videos to follow once we get home). Daddy was very excited about this show as it was one that he had not seen. When I came out Samantha was asleep and there was not much of a wait so Mommy and Daddy took turns getting in a couple rides. We then stopped for some ice cream and for some reason Samantha thought it was a good idea to use the ice cream as dip for her chips. Mommy told daddy that she had a surprise and we needed to jump on a boat for a ride to dinner. She had reservations at the Yacht Club which had Crab Legs (daddy's favorite). After dinner we came back to see the light show (video to follow later) and then the park closed. That said since we are staying on the resort they had magic hours and Disney's Playhouse had a dance party that we took Samantha too. We are all exhausted and excited about tomorrow...Epcot!
