We love fun days at sea and Sunday was just that. We woke up early to go get something to eat and begin the process of claiming our favorite seats by the waterworks pool so that Samantha can play right in front of us. After eating we make our way up to the waterworks area to find out it is still closed but this time closed for wind. The wind was blowing 30 mph but luckily the ship was not really rocking so you would have never known. This could have been a big problem as the only pools on the Facination other than the waterworks section is the big pool; two hot tubs and a couple hot tubs in the adults only section. Luckily mommy thinks of everything and had asked me to stop by Walmart and pick up a kiddie pool for Samantha to play in while on the ship. So daddy began the process of pumping up the kiddie pool (daddy was smart enough to buy a pump and not try to do it with his mouth) and then talked the bartender into letting me have one of the beer buckets to transport the water from the pool to Sammie's pool. The pool worked out great and Samantha had a blast...everyone was stopping and saying what a great idea it was to have the kiddie pool to play in. We brought one last year as well so we knew howwonderful it was to have but with the waterworks being closed it really was a blessing. Samantha then wanted to go swim in the big pool so daddy and Sammie went swimming...she loved climbing out and jumping back into the pool. Another girl Samantha's age came over and wanted to play in Samantha's pool (Harlie). They had so much fun together. It was lunch time so we said goodbye and headed to the lido deck buffet. Samantha feel asleep and took a short nap prior to heading in for the day. During our walk off the lido deck we came across the temporary tatoo parlor which Samantha was determined she "needed". After looking through the book she picked the butterfly and climbed up in the chair like she got them all of the time. The butterfly turned out great and she was so excited. After walking around the ship it was time to start getting ready for formal night. Samantha and Mommy both looked beautiful and we headed to dinner. We asked Samantha what she would like and she decides she wants hot dog, french fries, and ketchup. That's right, formal night, Daddy and Mommy are having lobster and Sammie wants hot dog and french fries. The waiter looks at her with straight face and says great choice Samantha and proceeds to bring a hot dog and french fries. For desert we started a tradition that continued each night for the rest of the cruise; daddy/daughter banana split - split. Which both daddy and Samantha loved. After saying goodbye to the waiters we headed up to lido deck to take pictures however we ran into "formal" Freddy. Samantha loves Freddy and was so excited to see him. We followed him around until we felt like we were stalking him and security could get called any minute. Then we headed to the Far from Over show (80's Tribute) which Samantha thought was so fun...she just watched the dancers in awe. It was getting late and time to go to bed...daddy got everyone snug as a bug and then headed to the poker table for a little playing prior to calling it a night.
