Animal Kingdom!!!

Today was Animal Kingdom and since we are staying at a Disney Resort we got to go an hour early due to magic hours.  We went straight for the safari ride when we arrived which is one of our favorites. After that it was off to get some pictures with the Christmas Characters (Mickey, Donald, Minnie, & Chip & Dale).  On our way back into the park we decided to go to the Lion King show which somehow we have avoided in the past.  The show was incredible by itself but when they chose Samantha and 15 other kids to go on stage and help with a parade of fun; the show became even better!  Below is a video of her first performance in the lights at Disney :)  It was off to eat lunch at Tusker House in Africa.  They have the safari characters here and Samantha was so happy to finally see Goofy, Daisy, Mickey, & Donald and the food was very good.  After lunch it was time to go to our favorite Mountain (Mt. Everest); Grandma Bern stayed with Samantha so that Paige and Daddy could go ride it.  I still say that is my favorite ride at Disney.  Off to Dinoland for Samantha to play prior to the parade and calling it a day.  We had a blast at Animal Kingdom like always.  We headed back to the Port Orleans Resort and decided to take a boat ride to the French Quarter for dinner.  After dinner we decided to treat ourselves to a couple beignet's which melted in your mouth.  We then headed back to the room for a bath and to get ready for bed as we have a big day tomorrow.
