Resort Day!!!

Today the original plan was to finish out the trip and check into the resort.  We had heard that our friends Ryan & Wallace's daughter and son just happened to be playing soccer down here this weekend so we decided to finish the trip out yesterday as opposed to stopping on the way.  We woke up this morning and got a quick bite to eat at the hotel prior to heading to ESPN Wide World of Sports to watch them play soccer.  Maggie and her teammates played wonderful and won the game.  We said goodbye and headed to The Boardwalk Resort for coffee and cinnamon rolls prior to doing a little shopping at one of the outlet stores.  After shopping we decided to go to Paige's favorite soup and salad place Sweet Tomato which made Paige very happy.  Maggie and the girls had one more game today at 2:00 so at the last minute we decided to postpone checking in for an hour and go catch the second game as well.  The Wide World of Sports is a super nice complex and the girls again played a wonderful game and won.  Unfortunately we already have stuff scheduled for tomorrow but the girls have moved on to the Semi-Finals and we think they have a great chance of going on to win the championship.  Ryan's son Tommy was also down here playing about an hour away and they went 3-0 today in their matches so the family is having a great weekend of soccer.  We wished Maggie luck and headed on to check into the resort.  We checked into Port Orleans which we have never stayed at and were very pleased with the resort.  We are in the Bayou and Samantha loved the room...especially the secret bed that pulls out from the wall under the TV and has her favorite alligator hanging out in there.  After unloading the car and putting away everything we headed off for dinner.  Dinner was wonderful and they gave Grandma Bern the special treatment for her birthday.  We were all stuffed so headed back to the room to settle in for the night and on the way ran into an outdoor movie show which we let Samantha watch for a little prior to calling it a night.  Tomorrow is Epcot and we are so looking forward to the christmas special treat for tomorrow.
