The thing I loved when we were thinking about signing up for Samantha for soccer was that the season ended right around the beginning of boating season. This week was the last week of practice and then the last game. Samantha's cousins Morgan, Chase, & Ethan surprised us with a call last night that they were heading up from Durham to come to the game and then cousins Kaya, Bryson, Karstyn, Brayden, & Briella had let us know they were coming to the game on Saturday as well. Thursday's night practice was a very good practice and Samantha played hard. Saturday was game day and she was very excited that she had some cousins cheering her on. No goals in the final game but she had alot of fun in the process. One of the teams was short a player and Briella decided that she would get in there and play so we pulled out Samantha's indoor shoes and some shin guards and off she went. Fun day on the soccer fields with family and friends. Fun first year of soccer!!!
