Paige's birthday is on Sunday and we have never celebrated her birthday at Disney World. July at Disney both hot and crowded...no thank you. We decided to change that this year but she wanted to do Magic Kingdom on Friday instead of Sunday so it would not be as crowded. It turned out to be wonderful a little hot (not bad though) overcast and not crowded at all. We jumped on the monorail which was the quickest trip we have ever had in the morning to get to MK. We arrived in time for the rope drop and headed straight to Merida which we have always skipped and was Samantha's pick as her favorite thing she wanted to do on this trip. On to mommy's favorite ride....DUMBO! Next Samantha got to play Philippe in Belle's enchanted tale. Off to the Little Mermaid with a special visit with Ariel. One of daddy's favorites is the speedway so off to let Samantha drive prior to heading to lunch. On the way to lunch we caught a quick Mickey and Friend's show at the castle. Mommy had reservations at Crystal Palace so during lunch we got to see Pooh and his friends. Samantha had brought her Eeyore stuffed animal for the day and the characters had a blast with it. After lunch they brought Paige a cupcake, sang happy birthday, and all the characters at Crystal Palace had signed a card for her. We headed outside to catch the celebration parade prior to heading to the new Starbuck's in Magic Kingdom...mommy was excited to get her Cinnamon Dolce Latte. We walked around the rest of the afternoon catching rides and seeing characters. Samantha's favorite was that Rupunzel was at the princess story time meet and greet. Mommy had booked a very special dinner at Be our Guest (the new Beast Castle). The castle was beautiful and the steak wasn't that bad either. There were several rooms and we got the ballroom which we were thankful of as opposed to the mysterious west wing which appeared scary. The beast was a very gracious host and let us wander around the castle after dinner. We ordered a couple deserts to sing happy birthday to Paige but the waitress was already ahead of her bringing Paige something they call the gray stuff which you can only get when you are celebrating a special occasion at Belle's castle. The strawberry desert was absolutely wonderful but we were stuffed on the way out. After dinner we had several fast passes to several rides so we jumped on them prior to heading to the castle for the fireworks show. Wonderful birthday celebration for Paige at Magic Kingdom that didn't even see a drop of rain....Happy Birthday Sunday Paige!!!
