Typhoon Lagoon and a visit to see Sammie's friend the Croc!!!
We had originally planned to leave on Sunday and head up to a beach half way home (like Savannah) and spend Mommy's birthday there but Sammie had mentioned that she missed her friend the croc at Port Orleans (French Quarter) so mommy got online and got us a room there instead. Since we had an extra day at Disney we decided we would go to a water park as we had never done that. Paige is good when it comes to planning Disney and she got the water park spot-on as well. We need to get there early and we need to head left when we get in and find a spot to set-up and then head straight to the water slides; Sammie and I just say ok but thought why, how busy are the water parks going to be at Disney. We got in got a nice spot in the shade and went straight to all of the water slides (some got to ride twice in a row without having to wait in a single line). Sammie's favorite was her tube slide which she wanted to ride over and over again; Daddy's favorite was the snorkling tour of the shark reef which if you look closely in the pictures you can see stingrays as well as a sharks; Mommy's favorite was the lazy river. By the time we were leaving some of the slides had hour waits...once again mommy did us good. Disney Typhoon Lagoon was an absolute blast and they were even doing Teen Beach Movie games on the beach which somehow my little four year old now loves that movie. We decided to head out and go get a late lunch at a new restaurant for us called Bahama Breeze and then check into the Port Orleans to say hello to our good friend the Croc. After checking in we headed to Downtown Disney for a little shopping prior to coming back and swimming in the pool. It was going to be time to head back in the morning but we had a great trip and hope mommy enjoyed celebrating her birthday at Disney!!!!
