Animal Kingdom!!!

Today's adventure was Animal Kingdom, so we woke up and got ready.  As we were leaving we took a back way (thank you GPS) to get there and came across the Disney Railroad Station where they were in the process of getting the Magic Kingdom welcome train started.  What a cool site so yeah thank you GPS.  We arrived at Animal Kingdom in plenty of time for rope drop.  Samantha had never done the wilderness explorer program at Animal Kingdom and we thought this was the perfect age.  We had an absolute blast.  The idea is to earn badges as you go through the park, you must use the map to get you to the right spot and then do what the activity calls for or learn about the animal in question.  When we picked up the explorer information the person was very quick to say there is a good chance you will not be able to finish and that is ok you can come back and do it another day.  We were so proud of Samantha, she was on a mission and determined to get every one of the badges and actually it was very informative.  We will do the explorer again.  Animal Kingdom closed early tonight so after the park we headed out to dinner.  Since Samantha knew we were leaving tomorrow morning she asked could we go swimming tonight prior to going to bed so we headed downstairs for a quick swim before calling it a night.  Just as we headed up to the room the fireworks from Magic Kingdom started going off.  What a great day, time to go to bed and get ready for trip home tomorrow.
