Resort Day - Wilderness Lodge!!!

Today was our resort day and after all of the fun we had yesterday we were looking forward to just relaxing by the pool and taking in some sun.  That said when we woke up it was about 48 degrees so we decided that we might need to wait till the sun was up good to go swimming.  We headed downstairs for breakfast before getting our day started.  After breakfast Sammie and daddy watched a cartoon in the lobby while mommy did some quick shopping.  Then mommy came out and said what if we go on a nature walk to which Sammie and Daddy said a what?  Mommy gave the look like trust me so we said ok let's go look at pine cones.  The trail took us by a deserted old Disney water park and then next thing you know we came out at a road.  Sammie said maybe we should turn around and go back to our POOL but mommy said no let's try this way.  We came out and somehow we had made it to Fort Wilderness Campground to where all of the horses are kept.  We walked around and looked at the horses prior to Samantha getting to go on a pony ride. Turned out to be awesome and even dad got to get in on the fun taking Samantha around for the walk.  Thankfully mommy said what if we take the boat back to the lodge instead of taking the nature walk again to which Samantha and Daddy said I guess so and headed straight for the boat.  When we got back to the lodge it was time for lunch so we went ahead and ate prior to heading up to the room to get ready for swimming.  We had a great afternoon by the pool soaking up the 70 degree sun.  Mommy then let me in on the surprise that she had rented a boat and the three of us were going to be taking the boat out on the lake.  What a neat experience.  After our boat ride we headed back over to Fort Wilderness Campground for our dinner reservation before heading to the Chip & Dale Sing-a-long.  At the sing-a-long Samantha cooked s'mores and danced the night away.  After the sing-a-long we headed back to the hotel to get in pi's and watch a movie prior to calling it a night.  Tomorrow is Animal Kingdom and we are super excited!!!
