We woke up this morning excited about Disney's Animal Kingdom. Samantha absolutely loves the wilderness explorer program at Animal Kingdom and since she got out of school for this trip we decided that we would spend a lot of the day letting her do that. Paige had got us Fast Pass for the Lion King and while sitting there they selected Samantha to represent the Giraffe section for the intro's and then also selected her for the party at the end. Another highlight of the day was when we went to the gorilla area; it was feeding time and they came running for the food and were very playful. Lunch was at Tusker House which was with safari Mickey and friends. After lunch Paige and I headed to Mount Everest while the others headed to a character meet and greet with Christmas Mickey and Minnie. The Safari was awesome like always and for the first time we got to see Tree of Life Nighttime Awakening and it was wonderful. We debated hopping over to Hollywood Studios since Animal Kingdom closes early but instead decided to head home and get some pool time in since we are up early in the morning for Epcot!
