Are you ready for some football???

Prior to the season ever beginning we had this date marked on the calendar. I had asked Frances (one of my agents) to allow me to use her PSL to purchase tickets when they became available. She did and Paiger was so excited (thanks again Frances). Tommy and Ryan Miller called on Thursday and let us know that they were not going to be using their tickets and if we wanted those as well we could have them. Since Samantha's Papa and Nana were in town we decided to invite them to the game as well (also their first NFL game).

Paige and I made a deal this morning that whoever won the game today...Samantha would be their fan for the rest of the year (I think we just started a new tradition; at least until she is old enough to choose for herself). The fans around Tommy & Ryan's seats were awesome. They were eating Samantha up and we are pretty sure she thought they were all cheering for her each time the Panthers did something good.

Samantha had her Panther's onesie on that Frances had bought for her under her Redskins warm-up. The fans behind us kept asking Samantha to take that jacket off but we kept telling them the Panthers needed to score to make that happen. It was late in the game before we were finally able to take that jacket off but she never had to put it back on.

She did take about a 20 minute nap during the 3rd quarter but other than that was all smiles the entire game. We heard several times how she was the happiest and most well behaved baby.

Samantha got to experience her first game up close and personal and she enjoyed it. She will have a ball pulling for the Panthers until next years first game with the Redskins.
