Cruise 2012 - Get on the ship!!!

On Saturday it was time to get on the ship so we we woke up and headed downstairs for breakfast.  We had about a hour and half drive left so we knocked that out and all of a sudden you see the cruise ships.  The video of Samantha seeing the cruise ships was priceless but I am going to wait till the end to post the videos.  We arrived early so it was a quick process to get on the ship.  It always amazes us that 1 hour earlier the last passenger was getting off the ship and yet it appears that the ship and crew has been waiting all week for your vacation to arrive.  We head to the lido deck for lunch which is the pretty much our sign that the festivites have begun.  After lunch we decide to explore this ship as it is our first time on the Ecstasy.  During the process we stop by Camp Carnival and explain what a fan Samantha is of Freddy and the lady gives Samantha a Freddy book and shirt for free.   We go down to check out our room and our luggage is already at our door.  When we got in our room we found that Freddy (mommy) had sent Samantha a box of cookies which she was so excited about; thanks Freddy!  After getting situated we head back upstairs to sail off and say goodbye to Florida.  We had the early dining time so it was off to get ready for dinner.  Dinner was wonderful and the waiters were great.  We hear a rumor that Freddy may be at the welcome aboard show so we head there prior to saying goodnight.  On our way to our room we see several cruise ships off in the distance and we were hoping to see the disney fireworks but we must have missed them.  Time to go to bed so that we can wake up in Key West...
