Let the games begin!!!

It was the first day of actual soccer games and we woke up super excited this morning.  Kaya had an early game at 8:30 and then there was a break until 12:30.  This is Kaya's first year playing in the Disney 3v3 World Championships and they came ready to play.  The easily won their first game this morning and Samantha could not wait to give her a hug when she came off the field.  Kaya was very impressed with Samantha's shirt.  We decided since we had a break before the second game started we would run to Target and then get lunch prior to the second game.  As we were driving Samantha said, "I know what I want for lunch and don't worry guys it is not pizza...Chick-fi-la."  Chick-fi-la it was.  After lunch we headed back to the Wide World of Sports and the place was packed.  You know a place is busy when the valet parking lot is full so we had to park across the street; luckily we had a nice lady in a little golf cart give us a ride to the front gate (thank you sweet old lady sent from the Lord).  Our friends the Millers also have two kids playing down here (Maggie & Tommy) so starting at 12:30 we had a game just about every 30 minutes until 4:00.  It should be noted that all 4 kids had 2 games each today and each kid won each game so we went 8 and 0; which isn't a bad Saturday.  These 3v3 games are intense and each game has the emotions of a roller coaster.  How the kids keep their cool and get the job done amazes me.  By the time 4:00 came around Samantha was exhausted and you could see it in her eyes.  We said good-bye to everyone and by the time we got out of the parking lot Samantha was asleep in her car seat.  As we got back to the resort I laid Samantha on the bed and she rolls over and said "uh guys, are you ready to go to pool".  So we got our swimsuits on and headed to the pool.  Samantha absolutely loved the slide.  After our hands started getting wrinkles we decided to call it quits and head to Chevy's for dinner (Paige's favorite Mexican restaurant).  After dinner we headed to the courtyard to watch Brave playing on the big screen.  About 1/2 way through the movie Samantha says "you guys ready to go back to the room and watch the bed time story, I have a long day tomorrow".  Kaya and Brayden both played awesome today and we are very proud of you guys!!!
