Cruise 2012 - Nassau, Bahamas!!!

Tuesday morning we slept in and when we woke up we were in Nassau, Bahamas.  We looked out the window and noticed six ships were in port.  We had decided since we did not have anything major planned for today that we would meet in the main dining room for breakfast.  Samantha and daddy had french toast which was very good.  We then headed out to get off the ship.  We walked around Nassau and decided to do a little shopping.  Prior to heading out we had planned on going on a horse and carriage ride around the city however even though the drivers wanted to allow us to do it the police would not let all of us on the same carriage.  So we decided to pass on that and just walk around prior to heading back to the ship.  They had re-done the straw market and the vendors did not seem as pushy as we have seen in the past.  Paige's parents headed in there to explore and we headed to Little Switzerland.  The employee in Little Switzerland was so nice and explained to daddy the difference between all of the watches that he was looking at and even though I decided I was not going to buy one she said she was going to go get something for Samantha.   She brought a nice silver necklace with a dolphin on it and did not charge us a dime for it.  Samantha was so happy and the act alone almost sold the watch but we left without it.  We met back up with Grandma and Grandpa and headed back to the ship.  During the walk back Samantha fell asleep.  After the nap we headed up to eat lunch prior to having fun in the pool and water park.  We decided to try and go play miniture golf prior to heading out of port (windy) which turned out to be a great time.  It was then time to get dressed and head to dinner; after dinner Samantha wanted to go to Grandma and Grandpa's room so we let her head down there for a movie and then we went and picked her up and got ready for bed as tomorrow was our resort day in Freeport; Bahamas and we wanted to get a good night's sleep.  Looking forward to tomorrow....
